The stone as a material is the cornerstone in the history of masonry. But our story begins just at the outskirts of Eleftheroupoli in Chrysokastro, Kavala, in the mid-20th century, and especially a few years later when the three Mavreas brothers watched their father to work the stone and create entire buildings. This image didn’t take long to get a magical dimension to children’s eyes and then become life goal.

Nowadays, Mavreas brothers combine traditional art of stone with modern technology, creating unique stone works and applications for both internal and for external space, or renovating stone structures and buildings, giving them a new life.
